Last couple of weeks

So the last couple have been very interesting, we tried showing it on Wednesday, but we soon realised we need to work on transactions, so yestorday and today, we all worked together to sort out most of the piece which is good, so now we need to work on the last scene, and Marc Anthony's interagation, so we are now on the ball also the music as really helped us push emotion

First week back

Jo has come in and gave different things to look at, it's really not an idea I'm keen on but hopefully we will get something from to extra research but I'm worried for time. As we have less then a month! 

Emotions

I think the 5 accused needed look more into depth of their roles, we need to see what stat they were in to to kill Caesar and how crazy they actually were to kill a man

Thursdays meet up

On Thursday I think we need to get organised so what happens where when and why! What the audience does! And costumes. Try things again and think outside the box more, we need to look through the script again to see if we and is some more monologues

Paragraph on sin city

• The Projects, the run-down and poor side of Sin City, are a tangle of high-rise apartments where crime runs rampant. Its inhabitants have apparently evolved their own independent society with almost no legal contact with the outside world. Marv was born in the Projects. Dwight claims they make him sick.

Tomorrow it all begins so to start it off I was thinking of playing his and seek, to get us in the creative mood and to see if we can get anything from it.

Pitch done

Friday we finished our pitched, I was happy that all my hard work paid of and the others to! I felt we did really well considering people we missing during the week! At this moment in time I'm happy with where the groups heading but I'm worried I'm going to do most of the idea making and organising, it doesn't bother me but I want everyone to be part of it! 

In tomorrow meeting we are going to talk about the pitch write up then the times we are meeting next week and during half term and our actual structure of the blood on their hands!

Objectives

 

1) we are doing this so we are learning what we need to go through. Don’t always pitch. They do pitchs to catch their eye more then just an application form.

prison

after choosing our three ideas. we all had different things to look at and i look at a few different things.

with the prison idea looking at a few sites it came clear that in the last few years people have done crimes just to get to jail. just because there life ant home inst always good. or the homeless doesn't have to money to he steels somethings and hopes he gets to jail because then we would get a bed and warm food. so if we choose the idea to do a prison then maybe we should show many the worst prisoners get almost nothing. and the people that are in jail for maybe a couple of years should get a few more things. just to show different status not only in the guards but in the prisoners itself.

ideas.

starting to learn with the group and research coming out and ideas pulling together. our three ideas all different.
 our first one set only in a prison. its all about a status and power, all about who you know not what you do. and Caesar is always spoken about but never seen. in this there would been scenes in there. and you would be learning about the characters in the prison.

our second idea. is a more formal business idea. similar to the Christmas carol. we see Caesar becoming poor and and loses his power .

our last idea. is the "cinna" idea. where cinna finds out about his death. and call witnesses. 5 people. in this we can have many scenes and that. and if we choose the idea then we could really play with the audiences mind and really make them feel uncomfortable. we arnt 100% on how to finish it. but we realized we need to make sure people die to make our idea fit with what Shakespeare wrote.
